Delve into people’s minds as Raz, a powerful young cadet at a psychic summer camp. The player controls a character named Razputin (shortened to “Raz”) in a 3D game platform, he can jump, do a double jump, hit with fists and doing psychic attacks remotely. It appears on a main card and enters over scenario the brain of different characters, each character representing a level distinct, the ambience, the decor and the actions to perform individuals.
As the game progresses, the character unlocks new powers, the peaks arrow are used for example to purchase powers and memories scraps (almost transparent silhouettes) when cent of them are found, progress a rank of cadet PSY, providing access to new objects or enhancing powers. The player is indeed pushed to explore levels in the bonus research to enhance the powers or to know more about the characters. These bonuses are all related to the psychic world, including fragments of memories to find, discover emotional baggage and mental paintings obstructing the mind to suck, which undoubtedly adds to the humor.

Razputin is a child with supernatural powers that escapes from the family circus where he feels rejected by his father who hates psychic powers. He then calls in a summer camp that aims to train young children to become Psychonauts is to say soldiers of the mind. Gradually, he realizes that all is not right in the colony, and that a plot is established by one of the teachers to run the world: it robs the brains of children to make a tank psychic. It is with the help (initially) of Nein agents and Vodello and the Cruller agent that Raz must prevent this evil plan of coming to an end and save the colony and the world. The scenario plays heavily on humor in the dialogues or situations, for example with levels set in the mind of a sea monster (putting us in the shoes of a giant monster in a city) or in the a descendant of Napoleon traumatized by it (or you have to play a battle against the Emperor), or taking place in a suburb where the spies are everywhere.
